Here is the new verson of my contents page mock up, I still need to create a sell line to go in the blank space at the bottom of the page, I like the text as it fits with the consistent colour scheme of the page and it also looks professional which will help me to attract the more mature part of my target audience.
Here is my double page spread mock up for my music magazine. I like the qoute at the top as it draws in the reader but I dislike the layout of the actual interview on the double page spread. When I come to create my final product I will change the layout of the interview to something more interesting/eye catching.
Here is the first draft of my contents page, I am pleased with the layout and colours used, I just need to adjust the TEXT placeholders for my real magazine, for now I am pleased with the overall layout and feel it looks professional. I also feel it will appeal to my target audiences cognitive needs as it contains a lot of information for the reader. The list of bands on the left hand side of the page will most likely appeal to a more teenage audience as the layout of the boxes looks very "active" and adds some action to the page.
Here is the front cover I have designed for my music magazine called "Render". This is the first draft so if i feel any changes are needed or my focus group are unhappy with anything then i will alter the front cover to appeal to my target audience.
Here I have done some research into the codes and convevntions used within the contents page of Kerrang, I like the overall layout used and I am going to be using a similiar layout on my own contents.
